Lumbung Architect has been serving customers from 4 different countries for 22 years. Despite their reputation and high-quality architectural products, their website on other hand is not attracting and retaining enough visitors. This is resulting in a lack of customer engagement who use the website to check Lumbung Architect works hence affecting the conversion rate and a potential loss of revenue for the company.

For this project, the client brief was to revamp an architecture studio website with the target market being those who live a luxurious lifestyle, such as expatriates in Bali and successful businesspeople looking to invest in villas in Bali or Labuan Bajo. The client requested a simple and elegant design, with a white color scheme. They also provided UI inspiration from other architecture studio websites, including Gfab, Andra Matin, and Arkana Architect.
In addition to showcasing their work, the client wanted their website to serve as a lead generator and directly impact their revenue. To facilitate this, they requested the inclusion of forms for visitors to provide their name, email, and phone number, allowing the architecture studio to follow up and increase the number of prospective customers.
Overall, the goal of this project was to create a professional and visually appealing website that effectively targets the desired audience and drives business growth.
Before the project started, I began by carefully preparing a timeline for the project to ensure that we were able to complete it within the allocated time and budget. This involved breaking down the project into smaller tasks and assigning deadlines to each one, as well as identifying any potential risks or challenges that could impact the timeline.
In order to keep the project on track and ensure that it was completed efficiently and effectively, I took on the role of project manager and handled all of the project manpower myself. This allowed me to closely monitor the progress of the project and make any necessary adjustments to the timeline or scope as needed.
In addition to managing the project manpower, I was also responsible for establishing the project pricing. This involved working with the client to determine their budget and then developing a plan that would allow us to deliver the desired results within that budget.
To get a high-level understanding of how should we improve the Lumbung Architect website, we can start by identifying the ultimate goals of the project: to create a visually stunning showcase for our clients' work and to generate leads through the website. To achieve these goals, we needed to streamline the user flow and make it as simple and intuitive as possible for visitors to the site.
To do this, I create a new user flow that focused on the most important tasks and information for our target audience. This included making it easy for visitors to browse and learn about our clients' work, as well as providing clear calls to action to encourage lead generation.
Once we had established the user flow, we populated it with user stories to give us a better understanding of how to implement the design and code. To ensure that our user stories were accurate and detailed, I conducted in-depth interviews with six individuals to validate our assumptions and gather more detailed requirements.
With a clear understanding of the user needs and requirements, we can move on to detail the acceptance criteria for each user story. This allowed us to ensure that the final design and code met the needs and expectations of our target audience.
